The houses of parliament captured from an unusual perspective which is rarely photographed. I found this perspective quite attractive, particularly on a busy afternoon it was refreshing to capture the buildings without any traffic or people in the frame. It's easy to forget that this is central London. I was pleased with the lovely warm glow that the gothic stonework is illuminated by from the low winter's sun. From this angle with a 16mm super wide angle lens I had to undertake a significant amount of distortion re-alignment which took many hours to perfect. I'm quite pleased with the end result which makes a beautiful print. This is the original (A3) edition.
