Original artwork description:

The Houses of Parliament are such an iconic sight in London that I was quite hesitant about painting them but it is such a beautiful viewpoint from the Southbank that I was compelled to paint it. This was painted early on a summer's morning and Westminster bridge appears to be a cold blue compared to the warmth of the building.
I have used fairly thin layers of oil paint to build up the full composition.
This painting currently unframed but I can arrange framing if desired.
