One of a sequence of paintings and prints inspired by and in some cases, made during several visits to Andalucia, Spain, and Northern Morocco. I was initially focusing on the Magrabi style of architecture, but in the case of 'House on the Hill', it was a the more vernacular International architecture of Tangier that caught my eye. The hill being one of the plunging routes down from the main boulevard to the old station and docks, both now gone.
