House on Inishcoo Island. This is the view from one of the two Arranmore ferries on their way to/from Burtonport, Donegal on an exceptionally calm day. In the distance Mount Errigal is peeping out from under the clouds. The jetty in the left hand corner belongs the magnificent Inishcoo House (not in the painting)- once a coast guard house, built in the C18th. Read more about this beautiful island here
