Hugh Laurie has always been one of my favourite people/characters to draw, this is my 4th drawing of him - although the last time I drew him was 2 years ago! Looking back at those early drawings can be quite embarrassing..
I think this is one of my best drawings of 2015, and it was certainly one that took a long time - I reckon about 40-50 hours on and off.
Drawn on A3 size Bristol Board smooth paper with a complete range of Faber Castell 9000 Pencils, blending stumps and a Tombow mono zero eraser.
