I often returned to this peaceful valley, away from the touristy spots in Tyrol Austria – a place where you can immerse yourself in nature and regenerate your soul. How blessed are the people who live here! I found this house in its idyllic setting by the river where the inhabitants make hay, keep goats and dogs and chickens and generally live the type of life that many of us dream of... There were so many impressions to take in as this piece was created on site.

“House by the River” was painted on 300g grain rough Arches watercolour paper using Windsor and Newton paints. It comes with a warm white mount to fit a standard frame size of 50x70cm x cm and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
