Original artwork description:

I love the way the landscape can appear wild and surreal, almost otherworldly. The subject for this particular oil painting was initially the house in the far distance however the atmospheric quality of the landscape soon took over. As I sketched I was enjoying the peaceful and serene nature of the scene.

When I returned to the studio I ensured that I kept the original colour palette that I had captured on sight as I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

House Across The Bay is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
