The characters in this painting are taken from the paintings of Renaissance artists Robert Campin, Jan van Eyck. The reason for this painting was the desire to think about the nature of the relationship between a man and a woman. To pose the question of primacy and secondary in the relationship. This painting is my reflection on the organisation of the human world.
This painting was made using acrylic and oil paints. There are small textures in the picture. This picture is ready to hang. The edges of the painting are painted over and this painting does not need a frame.
