Original artwork description:

This painting is based on one of my dogs flying through the beautiful fields adjacent to our old cottage in Herefordshire. I love each strata of colour and texture, the sunlight slipping through the banks of cloud to splash brilliant puddles of light onto the wheat below. The patches of grey abutting these incandescent pools make for a mesmerizing scene. The line of dark trees on the skyline run alongside the gallops for training local racehorses.

The artwork is created with watersoluble crayon and gouache paint.

Materials used:

watersoluble pencils and gouache
