A botanical oil on canvas painting with a deep blue background and hot pink and green flowers.
This abstract botanical painting was inspired by the Rosebay Willow Herb that grows in Exmoor, Somerset. The painted was created in layers. I painted over the lower layer of flowers and then added more colour on top to create depth. I wanted the painting to feel as if the wild life was springing out from the electric blue.
Painted in my studio in Brighton after visiting Exmoor. This painting has been varnished with a matt varnish to protect it from dust and UV light and has the attachments on the back ready to hang on your wall. All of my paintings are fastidiously wrapped and packaged by me before promptly shipping.
