Continuing my obsession with colourful fast food is this canvas depicting a delicious hot dog being flanked by two bottles containing classic condiments tomato ketchup and mustard. Both are spraying onto the hot dog in the middle creating a vibrant, graphic, colourful image that would be sure to brighten up any room.

I love painting and illustrating food in a simple, bold and bright style that is heavily influenced by pop art and graphic design, and this canvas is no different. I'm less concerned with realism in my art, more with creating direct, memorable images that you'll want to hang in your home.

It is painted in acrylics and Posca paint pens on a stretched cotton canvas that's ready to hang. It can be displayed any way up. I've signed the painting on the back frame as pictured. I've included a picture of me holding the painting to give you an idea of the relative size.

30 cm x 24 cm
Roughly 0.5 inch or 1.3 cm thick.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.

Postage will be first class and packaged flat with bubble wrap.
