Hot meets cold as colours illuminate from a dark background. I started with a dark blue/black wash then built up brighter opaque colours using brushes and then a pallet knife. Half the canvas is cool blue and the other warm reds, oranges and yellow. The tonal contrast in this little painting evokes drama and passion. The canvas is ready to hang with a deep edge that is painted black.
