Original artwork description:

I love Florence and when it gets really hot in the summer months, you can find some shade in the Boboli Gardens. This painting shows one really scorching day. My aim was to capture the feeling of heat and the deep, dark shadows cast by the trees. The painting is on canvas with white painted edges, so it could be hung as it is (note it is not a deep edge canvas), but personally I think it would look great framed. As framing is such a personal thing, I offer my work for sale unframed so the buyer can frame the painting to their own taste and to suit their own decor.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint
