This work features an old friend of mine on his Appaloosa named "Chub" and holding the reins of another horse, a paint. It is great fun to paint horses of interesting patterns such as appys and paints. I always appreciated the calm demeanor and patience of this fellow rider which I hope is also captured in this piece. Original oil, 11 X14"
