This original wood sculpture is one of the latest elaborate woodcarving artworks of the talented Bulgarian professional sculptor Sava Draganov, deeply inspired by postmodernism, folk art and dada. It is hand carved in spruce wood, treated in a unique way with colored natural oils. It is one extraordinary carved wood masterpiece and exquisite home décor. The traditional Bulgarian dance horo comes in many shapes, a circle, a curving line of people... The steps used in a horo dance are extremely diverse. In the past, the horo dance had a social role in Bulgarian society. It was mainly for fun, as a contest of skills, or for show, leading to the development of the large variety of horo dances.
