I heard this one coming, then a smack as it hit my studio window! So I took loads of photos before releasing it out of the window. The colours and intricate body structure fascinate me and this Hornet was HUGE!

Drawn in Indian Ink and painted in watercolour this piece is on 300gm Canson Illustration paper and presented in a small black frame with a cream studio mount.
