The sight of the horizon, looking toward Ireland from a Welsh coastal path, is breathtaking. All the time. Every day.

Glass has been my material of choice for many years. I love the response of glass to light: its sharpness and smoothness delights me. This mixed-media work exploits these characteristics and applies them in paint and ink, creating a multi-coloured mosaic of imagined glass. The work seems fractured and broken, yet it's alive with colour and life. This work was Inspired by the simplest of seascapes... warm emptiness.

This is an original work digitally painted and printed, rolled in a tube. It's signed by me, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
