Original artwork description:

I was walking the dog one sunny morning in the beautiful country side and came across some words written in chalk on the pavement. They said " When you can't look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark." and a heart underneath. It really touched a nerve and I couldn't help thinking about what those people might be going through. In fact it was on my mind for a few days and I had the strongest urge to pick the largest canvas I had in my studio. I had no idea what I was going to do but I had this very strong urge to paint. It wasn't until I finished and turned the painting on its side I found the little sad girl in the middle surrounded by happy clouds and positive energy wanting to go her way. She only needs to look up and receive it.
