Goedeke began to work on these paintings during a personal health crisis when she was in hospital: She visualizes colorful patterns of energy inside her own body which are constructive, positive and support any process of healing and transformation into well-being.
In this vivid violet yellow painting the focus is on the perception of letting old structures go, to make way for the new ones.
Wings, waves and feathers, painted in an abstract way, are elements which the artist used also in earlier works, but in this series Goedeke focuses now on a variety of ethereal wings, inspired by birds, flowers, butterflies and her creative imagination.
