The painting depicts personal growth through adversity.

Deep turbulent ocean waves almost consume the small struggling sailing boat with a glimpse of the sun on the horizon almost peeking through the stormy clouds ahead.
I chose Prussian Blue and worked the tints and tones to capture a moment of the power and magnitude of the waves in motion.
I use large sweeping brush strokes combined with glazes and very fine detailed finishes.
This is painted in oils on a box canvas and the sides are painted in keeping with the picture.
This piece is wired and ready to hang.
