Original artwork description:

"Tommy" is one of my fabric sculptures,he is specially finished to survive the elements outside all year round. He can withstand rain, ice and frost.
Or perhaps because he is so lovely you can just keep him indoors. Quite at home in any room.
He could sit in the garden or be just an home on a shelf or mantelpiece.

He is loving made and mounted onto a wooden base, with his cotton fabric, clothing immersed in special fabric hardeners, which makes the fabric very strong and hard to the touch - yet surprisingly lightweight, mounted onto a piece of slate.

I chose to make him in a brown bronze, with verdigre and gold guilt highlights.
MOUNTED ONTO SLATE which measures 12 x 8 inches.
