I named this large square heavily textured picture of the ruin, that today is Corfe Castle, and the new blossom on the old trees, ”Hope” to acknowledge the never ending cycles of life we can be sure of today. Change being the only certainty and that “This too shall pass” gives me always the strength to carry on. The heavy texture in this painting and the continued picture around the edge of the canvas gives it a 3-D effect.
