This watercolor painting is drawing inspiration from the ongoing student protests in Serbia ( my home country). Central figure of girl with her eyes closed, standing in a wheat field under stormy sky, represents a powerful metaphor for the ongoing situation. Crossed arms in front of her suggest quiet strength and resistance in the face of external pressure.
The stormy blue sky symbolizes the tension that often accompanies moments of protest and change. While the dark clouds loom above, they don't directly touch the girl, just as the protesters persist despite the challenges they face. The wheat field represents the fertile ground of a nation, where transformation can take root even amid a storm.

The pomegranate on her chest symbolizes life and rebirth. Also it represents inner strength and resilience. Her dark blue dress serves as a reflection of both serenity and mystery, puting her figure in the middle of chaos.
