Another all white artwork made from watercolour paper, and as with its predecessors it is joyously full of lots of detail and hopefully will keep you captivated.

I cut and constructed lots of different shaped flowers from plain watercolour paper and decoratively arranged them in a circle in the centre of a square sheet of the same watercolour paper.

I created the piece as I went along, placing the three lilies in the top to the right, and then surrounding them with large flowers, and getting smaller around the edges. There are also a few butterflies amoung the flowers.

The whole piece is framed in a deep white box frame glazed with perspex.

The result is a completely white textured relief design revealing individual flowers and butterflies on closer inspection. And as with all my work the different shadows cast are as interesting a the piece itself!
