Original artwork description:

This is a painting made from a series of photographs I shot in Ho'omaluhia Gardens, a botanical garden on the windward side of the Hawaiian island of Oahu. The painting is purposely painted very loosely, more gestural than detailed, with the aim of suggesting detail rather than spelling it out, thus imparting more energy and life to the painting.

The painting is on unstretched canvas and image area measures approximately 23x29 in. / 58x73 cm.

PLEASE NOTE: This artwork is on unstretched canvas and will be shipped rolled in a heavy-duty mailing tube. Take it to your framer just as you would a stretched canvas; stretching a canvas prior to framing is a standard service at any good frame shop.
