Original artwork description:

This Oil Painting of Hong Kong at night was painted from photographs I took from the Peak in Hong Kong where you can see out over the city. It is an amazing place to see how densely populated and crowded the city is! I was struck by the orange/purple colours of the sky caused by the huge amount of electric lights in the area. It was a great challenge to try to faithfully recreate so many buildings and capture the hazy background glow of the distant surrounding islands. This painting is on 2 Canvas panels and can hung together or spaced out as can be seen in the detail photographs.

A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
