Original artwork description:

Even in wet or stormy weather the light in The Hebrides is something special and such was the day that inspired me to paint this lovely cottage, or croft, on the shores of a sea loch. The sky was very dark but still had faint patches of pink which tended to light up the horizon. The composition has been continued on the edges of this canvas so that it may be hung without being framed. Also shown is a secondary image ot the painting in a frame, for display purposes.

Materials used:

stretched canvas and acrylic paint
