Sometimes, very occasionally, I’ll find myself in such an incredible flow state where a painting just seems to pour out of me. An incredibly intense, yet seemingly effortless painting session. Everything clicks, and it feels like you know exactly what you’re doing and that all this practice is starting to pay off. Honestly, it’s moments like these which is why I paint. The next painting won’t be anywhere near as easy, but at least this one was an absolute joy to create.
