The delicate yellowness of the flowers, beautiful curved buds, wavy petals, and voluminous foliage are all hollyhocks. This is the flower that creates the mood in almost every yard, on every street and in every city. For me, this flower is a symbol of unappreciated and boundless love, an open heart, and generosity of soul. After all, it is she who so generously decorates our streets and demands nothing in return. And this work is an ode to malva, her beauty and grace. The painting is pasty, using a palette knife.
