This painting was created by mixing a conceptual approach and a studio setup, which is something that I enjoy doing. The vase and snake were composed in the studio, while the mouse was sculpted to match the pose in the painting. The intention was to convey an engaging gaze for interest, attentiveness, and a variety of other emotions.
