Artwork description:

A set of two individual mini reduction linocuts. One of Holly and one of Ivy. Each piece has a printed area of 7.5cm x 10cm.

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. Both prints are from small edition of prints 18. All of the works are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

These works are printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and have a beautiful matt finish. They are numbered, titled and signed at the bottom. The works will arrive mounted separately in neutral mounts.

The artworks will be packaged in a cardboard book wrap.

Materials used:

Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks, conservation mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted works will fit into 6 x 8 inch frames.
