Original artwork description
Holkam Beach is a vast expanse of sand and rolling surf attracting families, walkers and horse riders alike. A conifer wood borders the land and provides some protection for the village and stately home of Holkam Hall. It was the vastness of the beach that attracted me to paint the scene.
Materials used:
Windsor & Newton artist quality watercolours; Cobolt Blue, Light Red, Raw Sienna on Bockingford 200lb paper.
