Original artwork description:

This painting was a repurposing of an older canvas, I’d had sitting around for a long time… Tgere were several iterations as I began this painting, with finally, blocks of colored background, with flowers overlayed. I pondered that image for awhile, before deciding I wanted to insert a figure into the image; although I wasn’t sure how exactly to go about this. In the end, I’m very happy with the outcome! I love that we see the woman’s face, hands, and simple silhouette of her folded arms, now with Flowers Gathered within them. This canvas is painted on the edges, so it can be hung, unframed if preferred.
