Hoffus is another from my circular spin series. I love these pieces for lots of reasons. One being that they look great as a solo piece and also in a collection with others from the series. In the past people have chosen opposite colour background a spin sections that look great together. Others have chosen to match the pastel and deeper colours together – also looking great together.

Secondly, they don’t need to be framed and look great on their own. But they also look great framed individually or as a collection inside one frame. Having a diameter of 50cm means that they can fit in most spaces.

Thirdly, I love that each piece is unique. Creating another exactly the same would be very difficult. So you know that you have a one of a kind painting – no prints are made either.

Hoffus was created using each colour of the rainbow, but in more calming pastel shades. I layered the colours creating a nice 'depth' to the piece. I love the finished result. I only have two 'full spin' pieces, Hoffus and Haul - they look lovely together, a proper colour 'hit'.

Hoffus is named after one of my lambs born in 2017 - she is a colourful, but small beauty.
