MATERIALS: Oil painting on Panel. The artist aimed to recreate the smooth glass-like quality of some classical paints while still giving it energy. This piece was created with finely-ground, pure oil paints with an Alkyd based medium. The sides are painted in a Black Iron Oxide and the piece is finished with a clear, protective archival varnish for easy care.
