Original artwork description:

History of Embrace belongs to my Vases series, where I use traditional grecian vase forms to depict intimate narratives. Normally these grecian and roman vases would showcase how society lived, loved, worshipped, and warred with one another.

I find not only that this ancient way of visual storytelling is incredibly similar to my own but the forms of these ancient vessels incredibly beautiful, each vase so beautiful crafted for the story in needs to tell.

History of Embrace is the first created in the series. I wished to stay true to its roots and depict something pure and simple.

The art comes ready to hang on a wall with a metal french cleat.

Materials used:

clay, underglaze, wood
