The 'Hissing Goose' portrays a defensive goose hissing at an unknown threat, protecting the farm buidings seen in the background. The goose is drawn from life and belongs to one of my neighbours here in Spain.
This print is an etching and aquatint made on a copper plate. It is printed on Somerset Velvet, a heavyweight 300 gsm handmade paper from St Cuthbert's Mill in Somerset. The print is in a limited edition of 75 and signed by the artist. The image size is 20 x 30 cm on a paper size is 35 x 45 cm.
