Original artwork description:

An acrylic painting capturing a scene of the atmospheric north west of Scotland in winter.
Texture is achieved by pressing vintage traditional lace into a thick gesso base capturing the rugged textures of the landscape.
Layers are built up using acrylic medium gaze and acrylic paint giving the painting depth and conveying the colours of a dormant Scottish landscape in winter.
Painted on canvas mdf board.

The title comes from a line from 'A Winter's Tale' by Dylan Thomas
