Original artwork description:

Driving through the hills I stopped to look at the beautiful colours made by the sunshine. The landscape seemed to glow and I wanted to capture this in my mixed media collage.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
