This is an Original Watercolour Landscape Illustration, done in 2016, which would look beautiful anywhere around your home really. It is made using watercolours, colour pencils and pens, with the windows being filled with a pencil, in order to achieve reflect. The paper is heavy Watercolour paper. The photographs are made as close as possible to real life, in terms of colour, but they might vary on a different screen, therefore in real life might be a bit different as well.
Inspiration:
The artwork is inspired by children's books I used to have as a child, featuring forest animals living in mushrooms, or inside trees and using the normal everyday objects that we do, but made of nature. They were finding themselves in all kinds of adventures. I loved it so much, but the book was lost in one of our many house/city/country moves. I wanted to have an artwork like this on my walls, to create a fictional city with tiny creatures living there as if they were us, going about their everyday life in nature. I wanted it to have the colours and details, like the ones I stared at for hours and hours.
