This little calf was huddling up close to his mother when I saw him. He looked out at me with such a soft gentle shy look that my heart melted. He is about a year old, no horns as yet but he does have his massive brown eyes hidden by the classic highland cow fringe. These are hardy Scottish animals whose large shaggy bodies roam the moors of the Scottish Highlands.

I photograph and print every image, I do not outsource any part of my workflow. Each canvas has been painstakingly crafted to ensure the true colours, resolution and texture are exactly as they should be.

About My Work
I believe in giving my clients beautiful artwork on luxury papers that hold their colours for a lifetime! Printed on beautiful Canson Aquarelle Paper from an ancient paper mill in France where they have been making paper for artists for over 400 hundred years. This is a paper that is very heavy weight and feels like a watercolour paper.

Image size 20 x 20 inches plus a 2 inches white border with the signature, title and edition number under the image in the border.


About My Materials
People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use. I work with the finest paper and canvas materials and combine them with non fade inks to create a work that will last for more than a lifetime.
