I painted this line and wash sketch a couple of years ago when we visited Blakeney on the North Norfolk coast. The picture shows a range of traditional Norfolk fishing boats that are used for crab and whelk fishing. They are also used as pleasure boats for visitors to see the seals on Blakeney Point just beyond the horizon line to the left.

Materials used:

Windsor & Newton artist quality watercolours; Cobolt Blue, Light Red, Raw Sienna with Pin waterproof pen on Saunders 200lb paper.
