Original artwork description:

I was walking past this scene the other day and was attracted to the composition with the green domed roof... I set up my easel in the street and got going but soon the strugle of obtaining some sort of tonal balance left the 'green roof feature' in its wake... the picture went through the normal procedure of... looks like a good composition to... oh no it's not going to work at all to .... shall I rub it out... to ..I think it has a quality..
