Original artwork description:

Panoramic landscape from the top of a high ridge overlooking trees in their autumn colours. The inspiration for this painting was Finchampstead Ridges in the Berkshire/Hampshire borders but the view is quintessential heath and woodland with its giant redwoods standing to attention to the left of the view and the sense of standing on the summit taking in the wider view. The proportions make this a quirky piece that would suit hanging over a sideboard or console table. Unframed with painted sides.

Materials used:

oil on canvas
