The early morning is a special time no matter where you are. It is the newness of the day, the purity that surrounds. In the mountains it magnified, the air thinner yet still heavy with the morning fog. Sun reflects through the low hanging clouds spinning gold around the giant pines. One could scream and it would be lost in the arms of the forest. One could cry and the sound of that tear drop would echo across the canyons. This is the high country, this is the gift of a new day.
