Original artwork description:

The idea for this painting is based around the quote "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light" in quite a literal sense. I’d left the window open in our flat and was convinced my boyfriends indoor cat had jumped out and was gone for forever as I couldn’t find her anywhere. I spent ages searching and dreading what I was going to say to my boyfriend when eventually I found her in the deepest darkest part of my wardrobe, purring away.
