A contemporary Scottish landscape painting of a hidden bay beside Loch Sunart on the Ardnamurchan peninsular on the west coast of the highlands of Scotland. Painted in bold autumnal ochre colours in a loose gestural style with a knife.
Inspired by a wet and bleak autumn day with dramatic grey skies, painted on a lightly textured canvas.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white hand painted wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
