Original artwork description:

This artwork is ready to hang in a black frame with ivory mount (UK only.) Outside UK this piece will be sent flat with an ivory mount and backed onto rigid card.

The form is based on the 3d piece that is still in progress, which has a slight abstract quality.

The marks used were made up from a combination of mixed media ranging from ink markers to posca pens (chalk markers.)

Pattern work features within the wings and border of this gorgeous creature who is based on one of my favourite local birds.

Bright and uplifting, this piece gives a great sense of the character found within observing wildlife.
