Ink drawing dedicated to the history of nudity in battle, drawing inspiration from the culture of archaic Greece that maintained the concept of heroic nudity even in classical and imperial times, probably suggesting that they too had once practiced it (perhaps in Homeric times). It had long since ceased to be part of real life, but in portraying the truly heroic figures who stood out, for courage and bravery, against the background of the entire community of citizens, they continued to refer to the concept that the hero, just as a semi-divine being, had to be naked. Interesting are also some ancient writings of the Roman era where we read descriptions of Celtic warriors, proud and full of honor that, naked, with only a sword and a shield as protection, they threw themselves on the enemies shouting their ferocity.
