This artwork is a 150 x 60 cm oil painting on unstretched canvas. It requires stretching.

This painting was inspired by an overcast day when the clouds are high in the pale blue sky, with a slight glimmer of light around its edges peeking through with the hope of sunshine coming.

I wanted to create a sense of depth and space - the wide open fields under the great big sky that seem to go on forever.

STRETCHING & FRAMING
This artwork is painted on a loose unstretched canvas. It requires stretching. This can be done at your local framer.

Framing is optional. I have painted over the edges of the canvas to give it a finished look. It looks presentable as it is when stretched.

PACKING & SHIPPING
Unstretched painting will be rolled and packed into a sturdy shipping tube for maximum protection.
This is the best and safest way of shipping large paintings on canvas.

Overall the cost of stretching the painting at your local framer will always cost less than shipping a fully stretched canvas of this size.
